Do you want more Off-Leash Reliability? Recall? Maybe just more FOCUS?
To be honest, we have found that the more we invest in this single skill.... the higher the heights our relationships reach, and it's so much FUN along the way!
Here at the HYPERTHYROID CAT CENTRE in Wetherby we work solely with cats treated with radioiodine to cure their Hyperthyroidism. For some of these poorly felines it may be their first time away from home. Due to the radiation levels in the hospitalisation areas we are limited in the amount of time we can spend in close proximity with our patients and therefore use Pet Remedy (and classic FM!) in each ward to help reassure them and make them feel more at home.
Contrary to popular belief not all hyperthyroid cats want to eat constantly! Pet Remedy has proven a very effective tool for us with the inappetence cases to restart their appetite as well as to make them feel safe, secure and happy to use their litter tray.
A lot of our clients come from the other end of the country to use our clinic and we always recommend the use of Pet Remedy in the cat carrier to make the journey go that little bit smoother… no-one wants a yowling cat in your ear for 6 hours!
A large percentage of our cats go home after only 5 days and this means they are then expected to relax at home in their own bedroom for a couple of weeks. For some cats this unexpected isolation can be a little confusing. Clients who have continued to use Pet Remedy at home in the cats bedroom have reported a much smoother transition from being with us at the centre to being at home again.
