I live in an old house with no central heating. It’s electric heaters and calor gas all the way. At night, however, these get switched off and I go to bed, leaving the flat to descend into its default winter freezer status. I love my cat and I am sure he’d survive the cold nights given he has a furry sleep den thing and other warm blankets and stuff around. However, since I’ve got this mat, he is much happier. He is glued to the thing when he’s in the house. It’s obviously the only warm thing in the house for him and he knows it. He is clearly a happy beast. I have left it plugged in 24/7 since I got it, so the only remaining aspect of this purchase I have yet to settle my mind on is the cost. It is drawing such a low amount of power that I assume there won’t be a big hike in the electricity bill when it pops through the door. But that aside, I’m happy with this product and, most importantly, so is my cat.
