Help calm our cats down, especially the tom cat.

It works well, my cats were calm last night and I was able to sleep without being woken up by meowing. It has a citrusy smell - it doesn’t smell like plastic as some of the other reviews suggest.

This has worked better for my cat than a more popular brand. You get used to the smell, I don’t mind it now especially as it works for my cat!

As headline says, we have a 2 year old cat that is very nervous and agitated and has trouble settling down at times. This product has been fantastic and really helped her to settle and relax her. When we use this, she sleeps most of the day, and is very relaxed and happy to be fussed for ages. The smell is very slight, and does not seem overpowering, bonus use is that it makes putting flea drops on her is now easy as she is more dosile and sleepy. Well recommended product that is cheap compared to others, and has proven very effective

This is a great alternative to the more well know chemical filled one. It never worked with my cats but this does. Whereas I cannot guarantee no perfect behaviour it certainly has cut out some of the furious paw waving i have had to endure with a thirteen year old and an active if fat kitten.

We had some litter tray issues with our kitten: he would frequently - and seemingly at random - urinate on the duvet. We understood that this may have been caused by him feeling anxious or insecure. This product was recommended as a way of helping to calm him so that he would be more receptive to using the litter tray. Within minutes of the diffuser being plugged in, he seemed different. It's hard to say exactly how, calmer maybe or happier, but it has certainly helped us to change his perception from 'duvet = pee' to 'duvet = playtime and treats'. With the exception of one incident, he now uses the litter tray on every peeing occasion. I don't have a particularly good sense of smell but I acknowledge there is a slight and subtle cheesy odour from the diffuser However, it's a small price to pay!

I read the reviews and was unsure if I would be able to deal with the smell as the reviews were mixed around this. I can honestly say I can't smell it at all, if I get really close I would say it smells faintly of citrus, nothing nasty. As for if it works - yes it did for my dog and cat, the cat is new and the dog isn't sure of him, when he jumps the dog barks, that's led to the car hissing at her, the dog then avoided the cat, not even walking past the cat but after 2 hrs of the plug in being on they were sleeping on the same settee, I'd say that was progress!!!

My cat had been secretly overgrooming to the point where his tummy and inner thighs were practically bald. Suspecting a little bit of separation anxiety, my vet suggested I try Pet Remedy. I’d never heard of it before. I’d been using Feliway for months and that wasn’t making any noticeable difference, so I gave this one a go instead. Well I’m so glad I did! After a few months of using it his fur has fully grown back! I’m amazed at how well it’s worked. It does have a very noticeable smell, which personally I’m not keen on. But if it helps him then I’m happy to put up with it.

Thousand times better than a different brand I bought on here. And it works and I've noticed when I switched it off an kitten became hyperactive.

This item is better, if not as good as the Feliway. It's cheaper too and also fits the Feliway plug. My cat is a very stressed cat and instantly seemed calmer when plugged in.

This is the first time we have brought this one always used feliway it was a waste of money our cats were still not happy with each other but this plug in one of the cats rubs up to the plug in, sits there next to it looks very chilled out..

My cats were really stressed due to a stray that kept coming round. It was constantly fighting with my cats and they were scared to go out. This really helps to keep them calm. I use it all the time now so they stay stress free.

Got this for one of our cats who is extremely skittish and it has been an absolute game changer. He's like a totally different animal within a couple of minutes of plugging one of these in. Absolutely recommended if you have a nervous pet.

Phew what a pong! Like cheesy feet. But it works a dream. We had a very peaceful evening, so I can put up with a stinky house if the cats happy. Will get my wax melts on the go 🤣🤣

Very hard to tell if something is effective when it comes to judging stress in cats, but it seems like this worked much more noticeably than the Feliway diffusers we have tried before. Agreed it does have a noticeable smell, especially if you have it in a smallish space, but it seems to calm the cats so worth the slight odour. It also lasts much longer than Feliway so is better value for money.

I have two kittens, one of which was almost feral when I got him a week ago. He wasn't litter trained, was scared of everything. He now does his business in the tray, comes to us for cuddles and plays with my other kitten. I also have a nervous dog who is scared of loud noises, New Years Eve is normally a nightmare for him. This year he was chilled and calm. The smell isn't the nicest to humans, but you get used to it fairly quickly. I recommend this if you have issues with your fur babies.

Brilliant product. Use one in cat foster room (with the same spray product) Works very well and helps relax animals in stressful situations.

I tried the other well known plug in brand because my cat was over grooming due to anxiety after her leg amputation and it didn’t make a difference. I thought I would give this brand a try, although I didn’t hold out much hope, I was willing to try anything. My cat stopped over grooming after a couple of days of plugging this in and her fur is growing back beautifully. I’m absolutely amazed by the difference it has made to her life. I highly recommend this product!

Have had issues with two cats not tolerating each other in the same room for several months, despite diligent use of Feliway. Was advised to try Pet Remedy instead, particularly after hearing that Feliway can have an adverse effect on multiple-cat households. The result was almost instantaneous. Within days both cats noticeably calmer around each other, are happy to share the same space together and there’s no more growling or skittish behaviour. Having owned cats for 10 years I think this is the best item I’ve purchased.

Its sedating and can knock your cat out too much and can cause headaches in humans if youre sensitive to valerian. Do not keep it on 24/7

Had much difficulty with 2 or 3 of my 5 cats urinating outside of their litterbox. But OH! The joy and peace that this lovely plug in has brought to this household. No more urinating outside of box, FINGERS CROSSED! Also I have some very relaxed and calm kitties, with the exception of daily zoomies of course. I leave it on most of the day, sometimes turning off when I am cleaning/window is open. Has a little smell, almost like 'fresh, wet paint' - nothing too bad or overpowering, in fact - I quite liked it! Better than stale urine smell for sure. I am so chuffed with this purchase, most on the market are ridiculously overpriced and do not work half as well as this beauty. Great buy, highly recommend to other cat/pet parents! The best pet calmer there is. Takes 10 minutes to kick in. Always use it wjen we leave the house to soothe our very people dependent cats. Passed it to my mum for her 2 dogs and does just the same. If you want to double make sure youre pets are calm use the plug in. And the spray. Spray the spray in your palms and wipe it down your pets coats.

My boy cat is very stressy - everything upsets him - other cats passing the house, loud noises, visitors he doesn’t know, the grandchildren coming over, furniture being moved, something new in the house, and in particular his sister who has no time at all for him! You name it, he’s stressed by it! He definitely has issues! The result - he sprays on furniture, doors, walls and entryways. I know this is his way of defending his fortress but every now and then it becomes out of hand. I have tried all the recommended measures to prevent and diffuse this happening but it still does! I’ve spent a fortune on another brand of diffuser over months, just to have him spray on the unit itself! This pet remedy one is different. It does seems to have lessoned the problem to a certain extent. It also seems to be lasting quite a long time which is good as some others run out very quick. The smell is not the best I must say - some have likened it to cheesy feet and I can detect the similarity! However I have valerian growing in the garden and that is the smell so I am used to it and can live with that. Anything is better than cat wee! Ultimately I think this product is worth a try if all else has failed, as in my cat’s case, as it does have something of a calming effect. If you too have a ‘Dirty Boy’ (or girl), give it a go!

We bough this product in the past with good results, it helps my older cat to get on with my younger and at a significant less money that other more famous branch. We used the other one and it didnt work, but this seems to works for us and it is cheaper, happy with it and my girls are happy too.

Got for new puppy to adjust to living with the cat, took some time but tjink it made a difference. Only snag is it leaks a bit

It’s important to be patient and give this several days to start working-we introduced a new cat to a household of two and now, after a couple of months they are all settling down together. This product was a vital part of that process as we needed something to reduce stress and aggravation in the flashpoint crossing points of the house.

I havnt got anything to compare this calming remedy too as it's the first time I've ever bought one. I read the reviews and a lot we're complaining of a nasty smell. It does smell and infact a day in and I can taste it a little when I'm breathing but it has worked, within minutes of me plugging it in my most timid and anxious cat came straight out of his bed with his nose up in the air smelling it. Just minutes in and He is so much calmer/relaxed and has even been laid on his side on the floor rolling around happy. Hes been out of his hidey place a lot more , walking around nice and confident and purring. A happy kitty is a happy mummy 😊 I'ts obviously more than half the price of the leading suppliers plug in. Seeing my cats this happy and relaxed I can put up with the bit of smell bare in mind it's only been 2 days so I'll probably get used to it too but it's not a horrible nasty smell as some reviews say. 👍 from me and my kitties 😸

I brought this to try and sooth my cat that is the definition of a scaredy-cat. I decided to try this as it is considerably cheaper that the market leading product and I was sceptical if a product like this would even work. I have 3 pets in total but I specifically brought it to calm down my female feline. Within days of installing it was clear my dog and male cat liked it and took to laying on the floor by the diffuser. I would say it took about 6 weeks before I really noticed my female feline was starting to show any signs of it working on her. She was such a scaredy-cat that the only place she would happily let you fuss her and touch her without panic was on my bed, we’ll call that her safe space. Now around 9 weeks since I first plugged it in we can finally walk up to her and give her a fuss outside of the main bedroom albeit a slow walk up to her. I’ll see if the refills see any more improvement from her behaviour.

First of all, I do have to admit this product doesn’t smell great - the valerian smells a bit like stinky feet at times - but it’s only noticeable when walking past the plug in for the first time in the morning and my nose at least quickly grows used to it. HOWEVER, since plugging it in 6 weeks ago our rather stressy neutered male cat has not peed on our front door once. Prior to using the plug-in this was happening several times a week, despite having several clean litter trays available to him. Not stepping in a puddle of pee on your way in or out of the house makes any slight smell totally worth it. He is prone to stress induced cystitis so I’m hoping this also prevents any recurrences of that, and the expensive vet bills that go along with it. Won’t be without this product now.

Working in vets I had come across this before - having a slightly stressy cat in a multi cat household I wanted to try this - its got a distinctive smell which takes a bit of getting used to but its okay - not sure if it has made a difference but its plugged in and I'd like to think so

Have been using this for several years. Scent is minimal. Dead easy to use. Item comes well packaged with drip rings. Marley in pic is the quintessential scatty cat scared of his own shadow and literally 💩 himself with fright at any noise. Even his random ‘cat business’ thoughts seem to spook him out. I’m not sure this product works but am afraid to stop using it In Case the 💩 becomes more frequent and we all get buried alive in it. I will continue to buy as it would seem less medicinal than its rivals.

Have been using for about a week.definitely seen a difference in my cats behaviour.she is a bit more calm and relaxed doesnt seem to chew odd household items so far as she suffered from pica. I don’t keep it on continuously as i dont want her to get used to it.so only when i feel she’s anxious or bored.i cant say the scent is very nice. Right now it’s working will see what happens a few weeks ahead. But i am glad i found something effective for that price..

I bought this for my cat and I noticed a difference instantly. It’s almost like she was sedated. Very effective but I didn’t wish to use it for the long term. As soon as I unplugged it, she went back to her normal excitable self which I’ve learnt to love and adore (as I’m not too sure what kind of long term affect this would have had on her). I bought the same for my mothers dog, and it didn’t work sadly. It may have been the size difference. My cat is 3kg and the dog is 40kg so perhaps it works best on smaller animals. My downfall to this product is that it stinks. Whenever you walk past it, the smell is unpleasant and for a split second you think you’ve got something on the bottom of your shoe. Overall it did work on the cat, but not on the dog, and it doesn’t smell nice. Good value for money as it’s cheaper than the bigger brands.
