This does seem to work. I had to buy more because I kept moving it room to room to keep my cat calm. I’m not sure if it is the scent itself, or by association – for a month I placed it by his bed, where he is calmest, to then put it where he feels stressed (and usually sprays) in the hope the association will chill him out. We have had a massive reduction in spraying and I even met him back into a room he constantly sprayed in. So far so good. Other reviews complain about the smell- I think it is stronger when you start using it, like the car air freshener is, but then it drops to a steady level which is barely noticeable and perfectly acceptable in itself, and I’m very sensitive to smells.
