I purchased the starter kit – spray and plug in. My elderly dog, a border collie, is terrified of fireworks and displays signs of extreme distress when he hears a bang. He jumps on top of me and claws at me and pants for up to an hour after one bang. I switched on the plug in as soon as I received it and sprayed the back of his neck when it was dusk (usual time for fireworks to be let off) and the difference in him is amazing. He is still nervous when he hears a bang but now he only jumps up to be beside me, does not pant as much and settles quickly. We are on day two of using this and it has been a godsend. I definitely would recommend this product. It might not work for every dog but is definitely working for mine.
