I have gone through 3 or 4 of these heatmats over the last 6 or 7 years and feel they are worth every penny. I have an 11 year old chihuahua who loves the sun and feels the cold very quickly. It has been one of the best investments I have made for her, she absolutely loves it and is attracted to it like a magnet. She spends 95% of her time indoors sleeping in her bed with the heatmat and I can go out without having to worry that she is cold and shivering. I turn it off during the very warm days in summer when she doesn’t need it but apart from that it is on during the day every day. I often turn appliances off and unplug chargers when I am out, but I am happy to leave this on constantly and have never had any worries about doing so. Highly recommend this product
