Amazingly this worked. I bought it to try and calm my 2 Jack Russell’s down over bonfire night, they’re terrified of the loud bangs. I can’t say it stopped their terror altogether, but it definitely took the edge off their anxiety. It has a slightly musty, herbal smell, not totally unpleasant, just a bit odd. It’s a bit expensive, but the fact that it helped made it worth buying.
