My 15 year old dog has dementia and anxiety among many physical problems. This heated pad has been an excellent purchase. I spray a little Yucalm (sample enclosed with order) on it and he is able to sleep for hours. It is saving me having to keep the heating on constantly for him. It is an expensive item but worth it to see him relaxed
