I had fighting peeing everywhere my furniture was being ruined from scratching and all 8 of my cats were NOT getting on.. I used the plug in not holding out much hope because I’ve tried them all.. Absolutely brilliant product, one of our Bedlington terriers were showing signs of anxiety getting in and out of the car, we used pet remedy spray and the calming wipes. We now use them before every car journey and he is much more relaxed.
This product calms our cat and our tri-legged dog who has high anxiety when his dad is out. I first tried this at our local vets on our cat, and he sailed through his health check totaly chilled out.

I bought a calming plug in diffuser for our nervous and defensive rescue collie, and started using it last week with low expectations. But I have to say the results have been impressive. She is definitely calmer and less reactive. She is less wired and less snappy. No odour is detectable from the diffuser so it’s a definite repeat purchase for me.
Product works for cat who had minor behavioural issue with leaving very small "messages" round the house. Have put a few diffusers in where he was going and it has stopped. Additionally the customer service is A+ first class.

Noodles my Cornish rex loves his new heat mat.At this time of year my Cornish rex feels the cold more than most cats.I always worry that putting any kind of body warmer on him significantly increases the risk of him getting snagged up on something.After all thats why you can get anti snag quick release cat collars.I noticed that you could get this heat mat £5 cheaper at other retailers.But with this fake world we now live in I was not prepared to take the risk of something electrical being a cheaper fake copy.Buying direct from the manufacturer completely took that concern away.£5 more for peace of mind to me was a no brainer.I cant stress enough how much he loves this heat mat.If its good enough for vets to use for there surgerys then you no it's a very good product.

I always keep Pet Remedy handy as by dog is upset by fireworks and sadly they seem to go off any time of the year. I have both a plug in and spray that I can put on her bandana so she get the most benefit . She is still aware of the fireworks but it does take the edge off her reaction and she recovers much quicker when the noise stops. I like using natural products and I trust this one.
Calming spray came very quickly, two sprays lasted approximately 1 hour which is all we needed

I tried some free samples of the calming wipes and it certainly seemed to calm our cat before some long car journeys so have got some more as we make her travel a lot with us!
Great service from Pet Remedy. We run a small dog training club and always include a calming wipe in our end of course packs. Our members appreciate receiving them and have had success using them during stressful situations.

Valerian absolute oil
- Valerian is a perennial herb with short rhizomes, aromatic feathery leaves and clusters of small pink or white owers. There are over 260 different species of Valerian worldwide but only a few have calming properties and we obtain optimum results for Pet Remedy from Valeriana officinalis. This species is native to Europe, North America, and the northern part of Asia.
- Valerian absolute oil is obtained by cold extraction from the rhizomes of the plant, Valeriana officinalis, and has been used for centuries as an effective and safe calming agent.
- We source our absolute oil from Europe where our valerian plants are grown organically using only natural manure as fertiliser.
Other essential oils used in the pet remedy formulation
Vetiver
Vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) is a tough, aromatic grass and the essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the roots of this grass which belongs to the same botanical family as lemongrass, citronella and palmarosa. This plant has been appreciated for its calming properties since records began.
It is extracted from the washed, chopped, dried and soaked roots and rootlets by steam distillation The aroma is very earthy. The main chemical components are benzoic acid, vetiverol, furfurol, a and b-vetivone, vetivene and vetivenyl vetivenate. We source Vetiver from Haiti and Java.
Sweet Basil
Sweet Basil (Ocimum basilicum) is an aromatic herb with lush green leaves. The essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves and the flowering tops. Sweet Basil essential oil has various chemical compounds that include a-pinene, camphene, b-pinene, myrcene, limonene, cis-ocimene, camphor, linalool, methyl chavicol, y-terpineol, citronellol, geraniol, methyl cinnamate and eugenol. It is commonly used in aromatherapy for its calming effect. We source Sweet Basil from Europe and Egypt.
Clary Sage
Clary Sage (Salvia Sclaria) is a biennial herb, native to the Mediterranean and parts of Europe. Clary Sage Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of the buds and leaves from the Clary Sage plant. This herb has been highly praised as a medicinal plant throughout history, particularly in respect of its calming properties. Known chemical compounds present in Clary Sage essential oil includes esters, sesquiterpenes, di-terpenes, and monoterpenes. We source our Clary Sage essential oil from France.
How Pet Remedy works
- Pet Remedy works with the pet’s own natural calming mechanisms by mimicking GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) which is a natural calming agent present in all mammals, reptiles, and birds.
- So when a pet becomes stressed or anxious the Pet Remedy actives help trick fired-up nerve cells into thinking they are getting a message from the brain to calm. This is why it starts to help instantly.
- The formulation is predominantly Valerian oil based (from Eastern Europe), with small inclusions of Vetiver (from Indonesia), Sweet Basil, (from Europe), and Clary Sage (from France) essential oils.
- Many Valerian preparations are too potent and can sedate rather than calm. Pet Remedy is low concentration and the diffuser delivers a constant slow release, which is very kind and gentle in its effect on the metabolism. Likewise for the calming sprays and wipes which are water based.
