I always keep Pet Remedy handy as by dog is upset by fireworks and sadly they seem to go off any time of the year. I have both a plug in and spray that I can put on her bandana so she get the most benefit . She is still aware of the fireworks but it does take the edge off her reaction and she recovers much quicker when the noise stops. I like using natural products and I trust this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works like a charm

I have two kittens, one of which was almost feral when I got him a week ago. He wasn't litter trained, was scared of everything. He now does his business in the tray, comes to us for cuddles and plays with my other kitten. I also have a nervous dog who is scared of loud noises, New Years Eve is normally a nightmare for him. This year he was chilled and calm. The smell isn't the nicest to humans, but you get used to it fairly quickly. I recommend this if you have issues with your fur babies.

5.0 out of 5 stars Plug and go

Use with the wipes (sold separately) Used together this does wonders. Not perfect, but it aides our dog to get a grip of herself and try calming down herself. It sounds stupid doesn’t it? Wipes and a diffuser? Trust me. We’ve gone from scratching and tearing our upstairs carpet when fireworks are going off, to a much more milder rapid manic dog!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well - even for fireworks

This really works. We notice as its running low that our lab gets worked up again. Maybe it's a placebo effect but we're happy that it works and our lab doesn't bat an eyelid even after fireworks last week. Would recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant plugs for calming pets

These plugs really work as my little dog is terrified of fireworks. He goes under the bed with the plug on and looks much calmer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sort of works

My boy cat is very stressy - everything upsets him - other cats passing the house, loud noises, visitors he doesn’t know, the grandchildren coming over, furniture being moved, something new in the house, and in particular his sister who has no time at all for him! You name it, he’s stressed by it! He definitely has issues! The result - he sprays on furniture, doors, walls and entryways. I know this is his way of defending his fortress but every now and then it becomes out of hand. I have tried all the recommended measures to prevent and diffuse this happening but it still does! I’ve spent a fortune on another brand of diffuser over months, just to have him spray on the unit itself! This pet remedy one is different. It does seems to have lessoned the problem to a certain extent. It also seems to be lasting quite a long time which is good as some others run out very quick. The smell is not the best I must say - some have likened it to cheesy feet and I can detect the similarity! However I have valerian growing in the garden and that is the smell so I am used to it and can live with that. Anything is better than cat wee! Ultimately I think this product is worth a try if all else has failed, as in my cat’s case, as it does have something of a calming effect. If you too have a ‘Dirty Boy’ (or girl), give it a go!

5.0 out of 5 stars It works for us

I have used other Pet Remedy products with good results with a stressed dog, so I thought I would try this for the firework season (which seems to last for ever these days) and I do think it helped, so now I have a new puppy I have been using it to help calm the household and once again have had good results. As for smell of product, not really noticed it being bad and certainly prefable to some of the scented plug-ins that can smell too sweet for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars On my second order.

It's difficult to tell if these actually work as our dog is also on anti anxiety meds. However, combined with the spray on a bandana and his thundershirt, his anxiety attacks with fireworks are not as longlasting.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seems to help

I had this for the Fireworks week and I must say that it seemed to help. I also put it on when I leave for work and my dog hasn't shown as much anxiety since I've been using this plug-in. I can't smell much as I'm getting over Covid so I have no idea what the scent is like! I'm pretty happy with this overall and would probably buy a refill when it runs out.

5.0 out of 5 stars It works!

My rommie rescue boy is terrified of the loud bang from fireworks. I've tried calming collars, calming supplements, conditioning him to noise, a calming wrap and finally a calming head wrap. Not one thing has worked. I read reviews about the Pet Remedy plug in and decided to give it a go. It's been brilliant! Harvey was laid on me, I was stroking him to try and relax him. Even though I had the TV on loud, we could hear the bangs. Normally he would jump up, bark like crazy and run around very distressed. He heard them and had a minor growl, but didn't budge from the sofa. I honestly expected him to, I'm amazed to be honest. This product is brilliant and I'm more than happy to recommend it to anyone with a nervous dog!

4.0 out of 5 stars Afraid to stop just in case

Have been using this for several years. Scent is minimal. Dead easy to use. Item comes well packaged with drip rings. Marley in pic is the quintessential scatty cat scared of his own shadow and literally 💩 himself with fright at any noise. Even his random ‘cat business’ thoughts seem to spook him out. I’m not sure this product works but am afraid to stop using it In Case the 💩 becomes more frequent and we all get buried alive in it. I will continue to buy as it would seem less medicinal than its rivals.

5.0 out of 5 stars My cat became addicted to this stuff!

I have a very stressy cat and when moving house I got one of these after reading the reviews. I wasn't very optimistic at first and didn't think it would work as he shows no interest in things like cat nip or the feliway drops I've used in the past. I'm glad to say I was wrong. I plugged it in two days before he arrived. he was already extremely stressed after spend the privious week in a cattery, but within a couple of hours of being in the new house he was out exploring and by the following evening he was already sitting on my lap. This is totally unlike him as I was expecting him to be hidden under the bed for a few weeks at least. The neighbours had a very friendly Tom cat who he did not like and their first encounter in the garden did not go well however once back inside and patio door covered so he couldn't see the other cat he soon settled down and was happy again. When the pet remedy plug in ran out approximately 6 weeks later. I noticed a change in him and we was again becoming anxious and stressed, darting about the house and jumping when ever he heard a noise. So I brought a replacement and he was once again settled. We are now 5 months in our new home and 3 pet remedy plug in's later I'm slowly trying to ween him off it. Would appear they are addictive. I unplug it when I'm home and only plug it back in if I go out. He's getting there slowly but still has his moments. I would definitely recommend these only negative is that apart from my cat becoming hooked on it, they do give off an odour which I have got used too but when people visit they can smell it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does have a smell but works great!

I have this near the front door as during the day when everyone else is out my cavapoo barks at the slightest noise outside (hes fine when everyone is in the house in the evenings). I plugged it in right away as the dog was at the groomers and I'll be honest I didnt think it made that much of a difference. After 48 hours I noticed an unusual smell near the front door, similar to damp mixed with fish oil smell. Whether its just this bottle that is giving off a smell or if all of them do I'm not sure but I don't like it and the kids have also complained about the weird smell. I unplugged it right away. Needless to say the plug was actually making a massive difference to the dogs general state of mind and I have plugged it back in. The dog still barks but is much more relaxed and barks at someone knocking the door rather than just loud noises outside, he plays more and is generally a little more self assured it seems. I'm currently trying to find another plug that will work for us because it is not the kind of smell I want right as you walk in but currently I have a wax melt in the same vicinity to mask the smell (which is not difficult to do) Overall I'm very happy with the product but would just like to make people aware that YES IT DOES HAVE A SMELL TO IT and no its not a very desirable one.
